How to wrap editor/file tabs in Visual Studio Code

Select File > Preferences > Settings (Ctrl+, or Cmd+,)

Type workbench wrap tabs into the search bar, click to enable the checkbox under Workbench > Editor:Wrap Tabs. File tabs will now be wrapped.
